Our Pilates

At RAWFAST, our Clinical Pilates clients undertake an initial Musculoskeletal Assessment to identify muscular weaknesses, imbalances, core strength and stability.

Clients are then introduced to the Clinical Pilates Studio with a Clinical 1/1 session. This session aims to provide clients with familiarly to equipment and to introduce them to their own individualised program.

Individual programs are prescribed by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) based on the results of your Initial Assessment.

Clients then have the option to choose between semi – private or 1/1 sessions moving forward. Our semi-private sessions are conducted by our Accredited Exercise Physiologist who assists with technique, progressions, regressions and injury management.

We offer over 25 semi-private sessions per week.

Sessions are maximum 6 people and clients work on their own individual program in a group environment.

Bookings are essential.

Pilates – FAQ

Do I need an Initial Assessment?

YES. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologist will guide you through an Initial Musculoskeletal Assessment to determine any underlying weaknesses or imbalances. Your program will then be designed to meet your individual goals and rehab needs.

What should I bring?

Always remember a towel, water bottle & your Pilates Grip Socks. Pilates Grip Socks are worn to ensure health & safety and hygiene. You can purchase Pilates Grip Socks from our studio.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24hrs notice for any cancellations. Unfortunately, notification outside of this timeframe means the regular class fee will be charged or deducted from your pass.

What if I have never done Pilates before?

Don’t worry – our Accredited Team take you through an Initial Clinical Pilates 1/1 session to ensure you are familiar with the equipment and understand the technique. They will guide you through your own program and book another 1/1 session if needed. We work every day with beginner to advanced clients and people who are undergoing rehabilitation programs for existing injuries.

How do I pay for sessions?

We have multiple payment options for our Clinical Pilates sessions. You can either pay casually or purchase a pass (10 Visit, 20 Visit, 6-month or 12-month pass). Your welcome to pay via cash, eftpos or bank transfer.

“Where do I start, I have entrusted so many people with my body over the years hoping to get rid of injury and chronic pain that began when I was 15, but to also be able to exercise and get fit and pain free. RAWFAST and Jemma have been my miracle answer as I am more flexible (yes I can touch my toes, I couldn’t do that even as a kid) and my back pain, neck pain etc is largely gone and it was chronic. Regular sessions with Jemma has resulted in very much reduced pain and the painkillers I was using have been greatly reduced. Jemma keeps a close eye on us all and I have complete faith in her. Plus add to that the classes are fun and I have met many knew friends. I have lost weight and toned up as an added bonus”.

“No more chronic back pain thanks to Jemma’s Pilates reformer classes. Something of a miracle after too many years of suffering. Classes are small enough to offer professional supervision and safety.
Motivation is one of Jemma’s strong points. So much so that she enabled me to continue regular attendance over a 3-month chemo stint”.

“I had been a member of a few gyms, well that was a total waste of time. Until Raw & Jemma. So professional and knowledgeable, always goes above & beyond, with her genuine, concern and assistance when I needed it. It is not just a gym and as Stacey pointed out a community. Her commitment to the well being of all her clients is amazing.
And of course worth mention Kirby who like Jemma, is an excellent PT.
RAW POWER is the best”.
